The origins of Laman Pok Nik

The land was bought in 2019, and it has been open to the public since 2020. As well as being developed as a kebun, a working garden, several facilities were built here as a place for the siblings and members of the Nik Hasyudeen family to gather and take part in all kinds of activities. In the end, the name Laman Pok Nik was chosen to describe its role as the link that brings together this “Pok Nik, Pok Nik” family.

Datuk Nik's younger brother lives on the grounds, and today the place welcomes other families to slow down for a day, with the kampung around them and the river at the edge of the grounds.

The animals

Geese, ducks, fowl and rabbits are kept on the grounds, and they are usually the children's first stop.

The animals live in working pens with wire fencing and earth floors, including more than a dozen geese. This is a small working farm, not a petting zoo.
