The night market
Pasar Malam Batang Kali
The town night market. It runs on the 10th and the 25th of every month, from 4pm to 10pm, and it is a few minutes from the gate.

Forest parks
Waterfalls and river parks
Three gazetted state forest parks, managed by the state forestry department, are within a short drive.
Taman Eko Rimba Sungai Sendat
A waterfall and river park, about 8 km away.
Check water conditions before entering the river. Water levels can rise quickly after rain upstream.
Taman Eko Rimba Kanching
A seven tier waterfall park, about 17 km away.
Entry rates were revised in December 2024. Please check the current rate before your visit.
Taman Eko Rimba Templer
River and falls in a larger forest park, about 19 km away.
The furthest of the three, suited to a half day out.
Permits for some hills and waterfalls
Some hill and waterfall sites in Selangor require a SEFOREST permit, applied for online. The permit costs RM5 per person and applications close 48 working hours in advance. All names must be included when you apply, as they cannot be added later.
